Episode #9: Frolicking Hippos

FrolickingHippos.jpgLast fall, my husband and I took a honeymoon around the world. One of our favorite places that we stopped was in Tsavo National Park in Kenya. This video was taken from the porch of our safari tent, overlooking the waterhole. This short clip was about a couple of young hippos who always hung out together at this time of day, splashing and mock fighting amongst themselves before the pod hauled out to forage for the evening.

Some background Info on this video:

We were traveling around Kenya by car, and we stayed at Finch Hatton's Safari Camp, which we think is the best place to stay in Kenya. We also had the absolute best tent overlooking the hippo watering hole. We even had a run in with a resident croc!
