Although we met in college, Shane and I had a unique first date: we jumped in the car and drove off for a 72 hour roadtripping. Thus began our relationship, not to mention our love of travel, camping, backpacking and photography.

Kate has just started a new blog, dedicated to her two kitties - Meeps and Tanzi. We both lived in Norwich, Vermont and went to the same high school. Recently, we drove across the country together when she moved from Washington, DC to Redmond, Washington. She also has a new blog.

I met Ash when I was still in college. Later we shared an apartment as well as worked together at the same software development company. He's responsible for nuturing my love of Japanese anime and manga.

Esther Thaifa, College Buddy and Beyond
Esther and I met when we were generally the only girls in our computer science classes in college. Later, we worked together a bit and then she moved to Ireland, where I visited her. Nowadays, she's back in the Silicon Valley and blogging her recent travel experiences!
Little Known Fact: She knows aikido.
Rob Watson, Fellow Photography Hobbyist
Rob and I met when we worked at the same software consulting company - me as a software engineer and Rob as our graphic artist. Over the years, we have had lots of great conversations about graphics and photography and we are both members of the Santa Cruz Photography Club.
